Cycling for Cancer Survivors
Sign up now for the Connecticut Challenge and Cycle for Cancer Survivors July 26th starting at the Grenfield Hill Congregational Church in Fairfield. Rie in the 12, 25, 50 or 100 mile ride. The money raised by Connecticut Challenge riders and volunteers expands the onsite, web-based and research programs of the CT Challenge Adult Survivorship Clinic and the HERO'S Clinic for survivors of childhood cancers at Yale Cancer Center. On Saturday, July 26, thousands of people will participate in the eighth annual Kayak for a Cause event benefiting The Outward Bound Connecticut Council’s Youth Leadership program and four other charities. Julius Caesar
Shakespeare on the Sound
Julius Caesar is Shakespeare on the Sounds 13th annual summer outdoor production. The politically charged study of powerful, ambitious personalities in conflict offers perfect election year summertime fare. Performances are free, with a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Bring your own blanket or chair. Limited reserved seating is available at $50 per person. Please call 203.299.1300 if you would like to reserve a seat. Performances will take place at Baldwin Park in Greenwich Juny 4th-13th.
